Chanel Cruise 2017/18

Paris

In Paris this week, Karl Lagerfeld presented the Chanel Cruise 2017 collection. As always, the show was an absolute spectacle with the runway formed around huge ancient, marble pillars. So anyone want to take a guess as to what the collection was based around? The collection was titles "The Modernity of Antiquity" and feature many Greek goddess style pieces, but all executed in a modern way and of course, with the signature Chanel style. There was a mix of floaty dresses as well as classic Chanel tweed and some seriously statement gladiator sandals worn with the majority of the looks. To view the entire collection click here. As for the beauty look, hair styles varied between models, but featured loose braids and headband accessories. The make up was kept to a natural glowy bronzed finish for the skin, natural nude lips, but was tied in with the grecian theme by adding a statement eyeliner look with golden lids.
