Colour

Winter is unfortunately still upon us, with its grey and miserable weather. So it is time  to start brightening up days with our wardrobes. Colour can be a difficult one, but it doesn't mean that for this trend you have to go head to toe in colour. You can just add a bright, or pastel coloured accessory, or perhaps a statement jumper to be in with the trend. The rest of your outfit can be the usual neutrals that you wear day in day out, so injecting a bit of colour is incredibly easy, and everyone can and should do it.

We are back with yet another trend talk, but this time we will be doing things a little bit differently. We have a base outfit, which you can see below, and then we have found some pieces that will match up and inject a bit of colour to the outfit. We have one  to dress it down and make it more casual, one look which dresses it up, and again, as per usual, one for a layering look.

Nicole Miller’s tomboy looks

Helen Anthony show cased some very alternative takes on suits

Chromat displayed unusual and eccentric teen looks. The most noteworthy look drew inspiration from Cheetos. The model unashamedly indulged in the crisps as she took to the runway.

Bibhu Mohapatra’s collection was full of fur, lace and tulle.

Here’s Why Adam Rippon Placed Lower Than Skaters Who Fell at theOlympics
U.S. figure skater Adam Rippon earned a bronze medal in his Olympic debut on Monday, but his free-skating routine left some spectators wondering why he didn’t place even higher than two skaters who fell during their routines. Full credit to time.com for the full piece.

Spring 2018 Collection - Out of Season

"Escape the crowds and have fun. Wherever you are and whatever the weather.Documented in ‘Out Of Season’ Ibiza, against the island's wind-batteredshuttered beach-huts and empty streets.
Your new season wardrobe has never felt more real."

Check out the newest drop at All Saints. Famous for their edgy pieces, the premium high street brand has brought out their latest campaign and collection for Spring 2018. Still with many shapes that seem to run through countless collections, the new season at All Saints sees more delicate details filter through against the more tough. With lightweight blouses, and lace collars to leather jackets and heavy knit jumpers. We also have some denim mini skirts complete with buckle details, which shows how this new collection is also trend lead, at the same time as staying true to the All Saints vibe.

We particularly love the coats, in soft neutral colours, pair over perhaps one of the printed dresses, or over a simple pair of black jeans and a t-shirt.

Get the swimsuits every blogger is lusting after now.

LA REVECHE

One of the classics from the brand is the Amira lycra one piece swimsuit . With stunning petal ruffles extending from the straps all the was down to it's low back, the piece is both flattering and chic. Whats great is you can also use the swimsuit as a top too, just add a flowing midi skirt or a pair of denim cut offs.

Another stunning piece from the brand is the Assuan petal lycra one piece swimsuit. Still with the same idea as the Amira, but with an asymetric design feature. Again this would look absolutely fantastic worn by the pool, or work perfectly as a top tucked into a nice pair of jeans/ trousers or a skirt.

The beautiful Principessa lycra one piece swimsuit is, again, similar to the Amira, just with different embellishment. This super chic swimsuit would look amazing worn as a top, with some simple white wide leg trousers paired with a simple pair of high or low sandals, and a super luxe clutch bag. And don't forget, you can always wear to the pool too.

Or perhaps if you want to opt for a bikini,

Global Fashion Collective

The highlight of this collection was Caroline Ann’s silks. Caroline Ann is a U.S designer from Atlanta, Georgia. Her collection showcased a range of vibrant pink and blue silks.

Another noteworthy collection was WILDFRAULEIN71. The style was very similar to the attire worn in new t.v. series Peaky Blinders which seems to be taking the world by storm. This collection however employed more spring and summer colours to brighten up the
tweed looks.

Noon by Noor

This show opened with a gorgeous coat pictured below.

We adored the use of cerise pink and yellow.

Adam Selman

This collection featured bold looks with lots of animal print and colour blocks.

Ulla Johnson

This collection features an array of warm orange and mustard yellow tones.

Pastel

Pastels for spring. Now there's one we haven't seen before (subtle eye roll). But as with every season, there is always a new angle to a trend, a new way to wear it. So don't worry, you wont be wishing you held onto all of your baby blue shirts or lilac dresses from years ago when pastels were last in, there is a completely new take on pastels. Here's how we would style them up this season.

Below we have our usual three outfits. One casual, one more dressy and a layering outfit thrown in for good measure. This time around it's all about the texture. The trend has been seen on the runways of Victoria Beckham, Michael Kors, Calvin Klein and Carolina Herrera, just to mention a few. So here is how we would do the pastel trend this spring.

Casual

Lilac is huge this season too. We love this jumper paired with some light wash denim and some futuristic sneakers. Add in a pastel shearling bag to really play into the trend and your all set.

Dressy

Go for a simple LBD under a pastel statement cocktail coat. preferably in leather of something fun like that. Pair with simple accessories.

Layering.

Lastly with layering in mind, we love the shearling jackets that are everywhere at the moment. Add one in a pastel colour over a casual outfit, and your guaranteed to be spot on trend.
