New York Fashion Week Coverage: Nicole Miller, Helen Anthony, and more!

Nicole Miller’s tomboy looks

Helen Anthony show cased some very alternative takes on suits

Chromat displayed unusual and eccentric teen looks. The most noteworthy look drew inspiration from Cheetos. The model unashamedly indulged in the crisps as she took to the runway.

Bibhu Mohapatra’s collection was full of fur, lace and tulle.

The highlight of this collection was Caroline Ann’s silks. Caroline Ann is a U.S designer from Atlanta, Georgia. Her collection showcased a range of vibrant pink and blue silks.

Another noteworthy collection was WILDFRAULEIN71. The style was very similar to the attire worn in new t.v. series Peaky Blinders which seems to be taking the world by storm. This collection however employed more spring and summer colours to brighten up the
tweed looks.

Autumn Winter 2017-18 - New York Fashion Week

Runway meets racetrack? This is the latest from Ralph Lauren at New York Fashion Week for his FW 17 Collection.

Starting with dogtooth and tweed suiting and fabrics, the collection started with a heritage feel, which very quickly became heritage retro, with the introduction of 60s silhouettes and pops of bright reds and yellows, perfectly complimenting the designers collection of classic cars. The collection also seemed to have taken inspiration from the glamorous and car crazy city of Monte Carlo, with logos across dresses, and also the inclusion of luxe diner jackets alike those you would probably see worn within the Casino Monte Carlo.

Overall the collection is incredibly wearable, something that Ralph Lauren always nails completely. We can see many of these pieces fitting perfectly into your FW wardrobe this year, and we particularly recommend a tweed jacket, to keep you super on trend this season.
