Winter is unfortunately still upon us, with its grey and miserable weather. So it is time  to start brightening up days with our wardrobes. Colour can be a difficult one, but it doesn't mean that for this trend you have to go head to toe in colour. You can just add a bright, or pastel coloured accessory, or perhaps a statement jumper to be in with the trend. The rest of your outfit can be the usual neutrals that you wear day in day out, so injecting a bit of colour is incredibly easy, and everyone can and should do it. 

We are back with yet another trend talk, but this time we will be doing things a little bit differently. We have a base outfit, which you can see below, and then we have found some pieces that will match up and inject a bit of colour to the outfit. We have one  to dress it down and make it more casual, one look which dresses it up, and again, as per usual, one for a layering look.

Ok! so we have written plenty within the last few months about how dark coloured leather is set to be huge next season. But for the here and now, things are a little bit (ok a lot) more colourful. Teaming perfectly with the whole dazzle trend, it's time to get into some bright metallic leather.

As per usual, we have styled up some outfits so that you may pull off this look in a foolproof way. We have a casual ensemble, followed by our dressier option, and lastly a more weather appropriate option. All links and products are completely shop-able as usual, and we have added some notes to help you.

1 - Casual colour

A super easy look for the weekend. We love this stunning faux leather red jacket. We would pair back something this bold with a neutral colour palette, and have opted for some super cool cropped trousers and a classic black roll neck jumper for warmth. Just throw on your white sneakers and add a quirky little bag and you're good to go.

2 - Dress up jewel colours

Next up we have this glam gold leather mini skirt which will look fab paired with this striped jumper tucked in. It adds a cool contrast to the outfit. Finish with these beautiful YSL Saint Laurent boots, a clutch and a swipe of red lippy. Happy holiday season outfit.

3 - Wrap up.

Lastly, you can dress up as a super trendy Santa Claus! With this red leather aviator jacket, paired with the black boots and a nice and warm chunky knit dress, you will be sure to make a seasonal statement. Add in this edgy but classic Saint Laurent bag to top it all off.
