Key trends, featuring Punk Rebellion, Varsity Reunion, Gothic Play, Prints Unleashed, Carry Me Home. Featured by Dolce and Gabana, Alexander McQueen, Gucci and Moncler. All stocked by Harvey Nichols
new young designers and brands were highlighted in the Harvey Nichols Menswear Preview:
1205, Ann Demeulemeester, Damir Doma with a texture workwear capsule collection, Dior Homme, which is only in their Edinburgh store, order by telephone, Gareth Pugh doing jackets and asymetric leather bomber.
Stocking also established designers such as Valentino and Yohji Yamamoto.

Lee Roach, London designer worn by One Direction,
Aqua by Aqua, distributed online as well as in some of the stores,
Brian Lichtenberg, worn by musicians and celebs and influenced by hip hop musicians. Some of his lines include Homies (play on Hermes), and a line of shoes called Bucci, play on Gucci,
Casely Hayford, based on Kanye West and Jay Z and East London hip hop culture,
General Idea, a South Korean brand, which is very competitively priced, shown in New York and very popular in South Korea.
Hood by Air (link Hypebeast) - not in stock yet - waiting list, getting stock in the store soon. A New York brand inspired by hip hop, Kanye West, DJ Bean Trill. Includes oversized HBA jerseys. Driven by social media.
Lescott Stuart, doing sporty teeshirts, jackets, trousers. Run by some professional footballers,
Marcelo Burlon, an Italian, involved in styling and photography. With some coloured prints and gothic inspiration. Uses Argentinian bird feathers.
Public School - Dow Chow and Maxwell Ashner - Won the CFDA award in New York and were short-listed for the Anna Wintour award. Exclusive in Harvey Nichols in the UK .Bomber jackers
Shoes and Accessories:
Giuseppe Zanotti - uses skin, python, almost tasteful bling, making boots which are retailing. Sold out in first two weeks. Another 120,000 on request.
Mr Hare - a London designer. Has his own underground label and shop in Dover Street. All Italian crafted shoes to the highest spec. Higher price point with boots retailing at about €600. New brand for the Dublin store.
La Martina - an old brand, traditionally Argentinian, polo-based. Producing Ralph Lauren type polo shirts with the Argentinian polo logo and quilted jackets and zip-up hoodies. Priced at slightly less than Ralph Lauren.
Paul and Shark, a yachting label and Italian brand producing understated teeshirts, shirts and jackets.
Blood Brother - producing trend-driven pieces influenced by music from Prince. Both designers out of East London. For younger customers. For spring-summer 2014
Herno - very warm super-wearable down jackets. Can be rolled up and put into a bag. Wind- and water-proof. Considerably cheaper than Mont Clair, retailing at €350 for gilet.
Harvey Nichols have an exclusive on Nicole Farhi in Ireland - Should be a staple part of any guy's wardrobe. Great basics with a contemporary edge and cameo leaf prints.
