As we have
a few weeks left of summer, it is time to start to think about the next season.
We have already covered a little in fashion with trends such as military and
pink. But this post focuses on a beauty trend that will make a beautiful
transition idea from the last few weeks of summer towards colder months.
Summer make
up tends to be very natural, bronzed and bright with dewy complexions and lots
of highlighter. But Autumn tends to tone that down a bit to bring a more matte
look to the complexion with more coverage. Also darker colours on the eyes and
lips tend to creep in come autumn.
But why not
mix and match seasonal trends? Try using the summery colour pink, washed over
eyelids with a more toned down, matte complexion to transition between the
seasons.
The Anastasia
Beverly Hills palette (here) has everything you need for a look like this. Blend into
the socket and smoke out the pink using a more orange/ brown shade to create a
well blended, seamless finish. Add a thin line of a darker shadow at the base
of the lashes to create a thinker, more defined lash line.
Pair eye
look with a nude/ natural shade of lip colour.
