Menswear collections that made a splash at Milan

Menswear collections that made a splash at Milan
If you are looking for some inspiration as to what to wear this winter, we have accumulated a list of the designers who brought forth the best autumn collections for men at Milan Fashion Week.

If you want a crazy pairing of different shapes, patterns and textures then you need to take a look at Moschino’s creations. From pearls to tasteful camouflage, this collection had it all.

Giorgio Armani’s collection was all about elegance. He used dark colors and muted styles to give off a touch of modern gothic elegance.

Dolce and Gabbana brought forth a collection that looked super luxurious to the eye. From brocades to velvet, this collection had a beautiful air of opulence.

If you are a fan of the grunge look, then Versace’s collection will be extremely appealing to you. Using plaid and different patterns as their palette, they combined street style with high fashion.

Prada takes us back to the 70s with their 1970s inspired collection. The pieces were minimalistic with warm colors and tasteful neutrals.

While other designers too displayed some amazing collections, these were the breakout collections from fashion week that made us want to go and dress ourselves up in the exact same way.

Style trends from Milan Fashion Week

Style trends from Milan Fashion Week
Fashion week has come and gone, leaving us with some amazing fashion trends that all men can incorporate into their wardrobes. These are the chicest trends from fashion week that we think will be a welcome addition to any wardrobe. The color brown made a huge splash on the runway, with many brands from Marni to Fendi using this color in their designs.

Brands brought out their A-game in producing quality outwear. Bright sweaters were seen on every runway. While Missoni used bright colors, Prada used wild prints.

Tracksuits for men made a huge comeback where MSGM, Palm Angels and Port 1961 all tried to put their own touch to the classic tracksuit.

Courdroy was the texture in demand at fashion week and Prada made a big case as to why we should go out and buy these immediately. The designs were extremely chic and looked spectacular.

Neil Barrett and Ermenegildo Zegna displayed suits that could very well be broken down and worn as individual pieces. Their suits were roomier and laid back as compared to classic suits.

These are all the stellar trends brought into our lives courtesy of the superb designers at fashion week. Stay tuned for future coverage of upcoming fashion events!

Bringing you the best of men’s style from Milan

Bringing you the best of men’s style from Milan
The men’s fashion show at Milano courtesy of Prada brought some amazing pieces to our attention. Designer Miuccia Prada showed us a super chic spring 2018 collection for men and these are our favorite pieces from that collection.

This season Prada showed us that jumpsuits are not only for women. They debuted a gorgeous collection of jumpsuits for men that made us think why anyone hadn’t thought of this genius idea before.

Another strong fashion trend from this collection was the graphic prints that were a mix between our world and virtual reality. These comic book prints looked mesmerizing and become one of the key talking points from the show.

Shorts for men made a huge comeback this season. These shorts were paired with knee-high socks with oxfords and reminded us of a 70s basketball player look.

For this collection, Prada was all about popped collars for men. This style made even normal shirts and t-shirts look effortlessly cool.

The Most Exclusive Comeback At Milan Fashion Week: Popped Up Collars

The Most Exclusive Comeback At Milan Fashion Week: Popped Up Collars
Prada is a brand that even non-fashionable men are well aware of and follow from time to time. This time around Prada brought back the once hit collars back on-ramp, the popped up collars. Let’s look at a few pieces by Prada on-ramp, to decide whether it’s a yay or nay for you.

Look at this vibrant ensemble by Prada, following the same popping out the theme of bright colors and layered collars. Prada’s spring/summer collection 2028 had mostly been about bringing back 2000s trends, including jumpsuits.

Prada’s spring-summer collection showcased at Milan Fashion Week 2017-2018, was, however, a breeze of fresh air because it blended millennials with generation Z.

The best part about this collection is how the designer incorporated double layered shirts with popped up collars. This ensemble particularly is the perfect blend of contemporary with conventional- straight pants with striking red belt, all the little details are perfectly catered to.

Not to mention, socks with sandals. Yes, hopefully, this initiative by Prada will ward off the stigma attached to popped up collars and bring back the cool trend of awesomeness.

Next Season: Military at Prada

Prada AW 2016/ 17.

The summer season of this year was clearly about Gucci and it's quirky, vintage, boho style. But what will we be seeing next season.

With it's old english heritage/ military feel another Italian fashion house could steal the spotlight again and become everyones coveted collection. In Autumn to Winter this year, expect it to be all about Prada.

Prada AW 16/ 17.

The collection displays many military inspired overcoats, which will be a notable trend next season. Stockings were also a bit statement, so will we see more patterned and out there stockings?

Sailor hats, laced waist sinchers and key motifs.

Sailor hats were worn, with other accessories including laced up waist belts and statement handbags. A key motif to be running through many of the accessories was a key. Keys can be seen on bag charms and hanging from the statement necklaces worn.

Military coats, and statement stockings.
