Highlights from Maison Margiela AW16 at PFW
Fall 2016 was presented by John Galliano, the ready to wear Maison Margiela`s consisting of thin knits, restrained military outerwear, black suitings and many more, were shown to interested parties. The highlight of the show was the white space created inside the Grand Palais. Additionally there was more then one show, unlike the usual Margiela Couture`s.
Other looks were sealed waists with hefty belts fitted with golden of giant silver clasps. The models also wore elegantly shaped large earrings and brooches. Shoes varied from thick-heeled loafer pumps to gold-trimmed lace-up boots with ribbon detailing.
The look of the models was unique, featuring bob cuts, bold complexions, matted-down hair in magenta, emerald, or teal.
