The
digital age has really taken over fashion. You no longer need to be present at
designers shows to watch their new collections. There are many streams to
enable you to watch from the comfort of your own home.
Designers also have Instagram, Twitter, You Tube and Facebook accounts to keep up with the digital media marketing trends. E-word of mouth has also become an increasingly important aspect for the business side of fashion with an army of Bloggers advocating products and influencing commerce.
But at Copenhagen Fashion week, there was a stand out collection that reflected digital media within their collection. Designers Nest sent out garments and ensembles that very much reflected a number of topics that have been trending within social media. In particular, cinematography, comics and even the new Pokémon Go app.
